Try This At Home Tuesday: Mardi Gras Pancakes & Ice Cream

Happy Mardi Gras aka Pancake Tuesday, where we can all very much acceptably eat pancakes for meals, smothered in local maple syrup and topped with scoops of ice cream.

 

What you need:

  • Scoop of our Vanilla Bean ice cream
  • 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3.5 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup of organic cane sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups of milk 
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  •  

    How to make them:

    1. Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large mixing bowl
    2. Next add the milk and egg to the dry mix and blend until smooth
    3. Set a pan to medium heat and melt some of the butter
    4. Add 1/2 cups of the mix at a time and flip when you see small bubbles
    5. Make a beautiful stack and top your perfect pancakes with maple syrup and ice cream
