Tell All Thursday: January Seasonal Flavours
Just like last year, we are continuing to change our 8 seasonal flavours every month. For the month of January we let you know that we are doing a breakfast theme. Well - here are the 8 flavours you can look forward to for the month!
In the Childhood category:
Cereal Milk - the most nostalgic of breakfast tastes. The bottom of the bowl cereal milk! We use Gorilla Crunch organic corn puffs to soak overnight in our ice cream base (milk and cream) to give it a true cereal milk taste. Then, we blend a bit of the cereal into the base and strain out the rest. We churn this into ice cream and add toasted corn puffs as a mix-in! Perfection.
Chocolate Chip - just like you remember it. A plain and perfect vanilla ice cream speckled throughout with chocolately chippy goodness.
In the Vegan category:
Coffee & Donuts - yup, this is really a vegan flavour. We've made the vegan espresso ice cream again (because you loved it so much!) but this time we've partnered with Mad Dog Donuts to make us vanilla donuts with a chocolate glaze and topped with toasted coconut to chop up and put inside. We're jumping with joy too, trust us.
Arctic Kiwi Sorbet - kiwis grown in Ontario, you better believe it! This special fruit makes for one perfect breakfast sorbet. True to it's green colour and you can even see some of the little kiwi seeds. Super light, refreshing and as usual, surprisingly creamy.
In the Foodie category:
Waffles & Bacon - like a complete breakfast! We make gluten-free waffles in house and compliment them with locally-made bacon from Bread Baron. They get chopped up and tossed together into a maple syrup ice cream, made without any cane sugar! No, you're not dreaming...
Cream of Earl Grey & Honey - an old favourite that is worth keeping around, especially for breakfast. A rich black tea flavour sweetened only with local honey from Nith Valley Apiaries.
In the Classic category:
Fro-Yo Parfait - like a classic breakfast yogurt parfait, but ice cream style! Made with Eby Manor yogurt, a house made raspberry compote swirl and almond granola.
Maple Walnut - another classic we have a hard time living without. Maple ice cream sweetened only with local maple syrup from Synder's Heritage Farm (just like the Waffles & Bacon ice cream) and maple roasted walnuts.
