Try This At Home: Super Easy Mango Sauce
For #TryThisAtHomeTuesday we made an easy and delicious mango sauce. The bright yellow colour reminds us of all the sunny days soon to come.
What you need:
- 2 ripe mangoes or frozen mango chunks, thawed (~ 1 heaping cup)
- 4 teaspoons fresh lime juice
- 2 teaspoons sugar
What to do:
- Peel mangoes and cut flesh away from the pit. If using frozen mango chunks, thaw them in fridge and skip right to step 2.
- Place all ingredients into a blender and puree until very smooth.
- Strain resulting puree through a fine sieve into a bowl
- That's it! Sauce is done!
- Pour over ice cream off course.
We used our mango sauce to top our Raspberry Ripple ice cream. Delish!
