Chocolate Caramel Ice Cream Cannoli

Indulge in the perfect fusion of crispy, baked cannoli shells and creamy, decadent ice cream with this Chocolate Caramel Ice Cream Cannoli recipe! Filled with rich ice cream and dipped in chocolate chips, these delightful treats offer the ultimate sweet and salty experience. The homemade cannoli shells are simple to make, using a mix of flour, butter, wine, and yogurt, and are baked to golden perfection. A quick and easy dessert that's sure to impress at any gathering!

 

Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened yogurt
  • Egg wash (we used a vegan egg wash- 1 tbsp soy milk mixed with 1 tbsp maple syrup)
  • Pint of Four All’s Chocolate Caramel Cone Crunch ice cream
  • Optional: 1 cup chocolate chips



How to Make:

  1. In a stand mixer, combine the flour and butter until mixed together fully. Add in the sugar, wine, and yogurt and mix for two minutes. 
  2. Form the dough into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Then chill in the fridge for an hour. 
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F. 
  4. Once the dough is chilled, flour a clean surface and roll the dough out flat and as thin as possible. Use a glass or round cookie cutter to cut out circular shapes in the dough. Wrap the dough around cannoli forms (we made our own using tin foil and rolling it into a cylinder) 
  5. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 20 minutes. After, allow the shells to cool fully. 
  6. Fill each shell with a small spoonful of Four All’s Chocolate Caramel Cone Crunch ice cream. Then dip each side of the cannoli into a bowl of chocolate chips. Serve immediately and enjoy!
