Tell All Thursday: Community Ice Cream Dreaming
As we move into fall, let’s take a moment to remember the good times we've enjoyed over the summer. The laughs, the adventures, and the dreams. Specifically for us, this means celebrating two of our community campaigns.
First, remember that delicious raspberry, blueberry, and strawberry sorbet from June? Hero Swirl, with optional pop-rock toppings, was dreamt into being by students at Vista Hills Public School.
The kids’ dream was to get a playspace. Four All’s mission was to help their dream come true with a little help from ice cream. With proceeds from scoops, cubes, and party pails of Hero Swirl donated to Vista Hills, we hoped that this partnership would bring those ice cream dreamers one step closer to their playspace.
No one could have imagined such a successful campaign. We called on you to unleash the power of ice cream, and you did! Because of our community’s commitment to Ice Cream For The People, together we raised a total of $2,168.25.
A playspace funded through ice-cream: now that’s a dream!
Second, on Sunday September 16, Four All partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Waterloo Region. We let you know that 25% of all cone sales would be donated to BBBSOWR as part of their September fundraising campaign.
BBBSOWR asks us all to imagine a world in which “kids are reminded that they can become anybody that they dream of.” Four All once again called on you to unleash the power of ice cream and imagine all the dreams come true.
On Sunday September 16, many supporters came out to our Tasting Room and Cone Counter. KW truly is committed to Ice Cream For The People. Together we raised $400 to help make every kid’s dream in Waterloo Region come true!
